The local authorities have kindly requested hotels, accommodation providers, and travel companies to offer their support to tourists visiting Nha Trang for the upcoming event. They have also asked for understanding and empathy regarding any potential inconveniences caused by the festival.
While the closing ceremony has been postponed, the new date and time will be communicated soon.
The Nha Trang International Light Festival 2024, a unique drone light show competition, commenced on July 13. This spectacular event featured teams from France, China, the Republic of Korea (RoK), and the United Arab Emirates (UAE), with approximately 8,000 drones expected to light up the skies.
The festival’s opening night showcased a breathtaking drone light show competition between the RoK and China, themed “Glamour Nha Trang.” In addition, young Vietnamese singers entertained the audience with their musical performances.
Initially planned for July 20, the closing ceremony will now be a highlight of the festival, with participants from France and the UAE presenting a dazzling display themed “Night of the Wonders.” The new date for this grand finale will be announced soon.
Diving for Pearl Oysters on Tam Islet
Tam Islet is one of the four most beautiful islets in Nha Trang with a diverse maritime eco-system. The islet is an ideal place for swimming and diving to behold colourful coral reefs and see pearl oysters which are raised in the sea. Recently, the Provincial People’s Committee of Khanh Hoa instructed the Giang Gia Pearl Company and the Hon Tam Tourists Area to organize dive tours for pearl oysters.
