Nha Trang, known for its pristine beaches and islands, offers a picturesque backdrop for destination weddings, according to Vineet Jain, founder of Vineet Jain Creations, an Indian wedding and event planning company. Abhineet Shukla, representing an Indian travel agency, acknowledged the existing challenges, including dietary restrictions and cultural differences, that hinder Indian tourists from choosing Vietnam as a vacation destination. However, he praised Vietnam’s natural beauty and potential for large-scale event hosting, which has captured the interest of Indian entrepreneurs looking for unique wedding destinations.
To further enhance Indian-Vietnamese tourism cooperation, Shukla recommended intensifying cultural exchange initiatives and targeted tourism promotions between Khanh Hoa and India, addressing the current lack of direct flights between the two countries.
