The Mister Vietnam 2024 contestants, Pham Van Quoc, Dang Anh Duong, Cao Quoc Thang, Thach Kiem Mara, and Do Quang Tuyen, showcased their talent and represented Vietnamese modeling excellence as “ASEAN model ambassadors.”
These five exceptional models, alongside notable candidates from across the ASEAN region, graced the event with their presence, donning creations by a diverse group of 40 designers from 11 countries: Australia, the United States, Italy, the Netherlands, Singapore, Indonesia, the Philippines, Vietnam, Thailand, Malaysia, and Indonesia.
Aki Quang, the program’s general director, emphasized the uniqueness of the individuals, representing multiple generations of Vietnamese models. He shared that the event presented a valuable opportunity for young Vietnamese talent to align with international fashion standards and gain global recognition.
Hayden Ng, the founder of the event, elaborated on the purpose behind this initiative. He stated that the occasion aimed to encourage and provide a platform for aspiring fashion designers, models, and creators from Asia to step into the international arena. Additionally, it sought to foster connections between the ASEAN fashion community and the global fashion industry, creating a cohesive and inclusive fashion landscape.
UNESCO ready to help Lang Son build global geopark dossier
UNESCO experts are willing to share experience and support the northern mountainous province of Lang Son to build a dossier for a global geopark, UNESCO Representative to Vietnam Christian Manhart pledged on February 23.
