The much-anticipated event, originally scheduled for July 20, was respectfully postponed due to the State mourning period for the beloved General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam, Nguyen Phu Trong.
The inaugural Nha Trang International Light Festival 2024, a unique drone light show contest, kicked off on July 13. The festival attracted top talent, with four teams from France, China, the Republic of Korea (RoK), and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) participating and utilizing approximately 8,000 drones in their performances.
The opening night of the festival was a spectacle to behold, with a drone light show competition between the RoK and China, themed “Glamour Nha Trang.” The evening was further enhanced by musical performances from Vietnam’s young and talented singers.
The festival will draw to a close on the evening of August 3 with a grand finale at Vinpearl Harbour on Hon Tre Island in the breathtaking Nha Trang Bay. The closing ceremony will feature a competition between France and the UAE, promising a “Night of Wonders” to remember.
