Emphasizing the significance of the annual event, now in its 16th iteration in Japan, representatives from both nations highlighted how it has fostered a deeper understanding of Vietnam’s unique culture and strengthened bilateral relations across various sectors, including economics, politics, and people-to-people exchanges, over the last five decades.
The festival featured a rich array of cultural activities and musical performances by popular Vietnamese singers, alongside the introduction of traditional Vietnamese water puppetry shows, offering both Japanese audiences and the Vietnamese community a unique artistic experience.
A particular highlight of the event was the plethora of stalls showcasing Vietnamese cuisine, which attracted long lines of Japanese enthusiasts eager to sample delicious local specialties such as Pho, bread, and spring rolls.
In addition to the cultural and culinary offerings, several pavilions were dedicated to promoting job opportunities, tours, and aviation services, as well as facilitating import-export activities between companies from both countries.
According to the organizers, the event proved to be a resounding success, drawing approximately 180,000 visitors and further solidifying the strong bonds between Japan and Vietnam.
