A coffee shop in Hanoi’s Hoan Kiem District, famed for its oolong milk tea, has become a surprising hit with the city’s youth, who are flocking to the venue in the early hours of the morning.

Located on Tong Dan Street, the cafe has extended its opening hours from 4:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. to meet customer demand. This unique operating schedule has captured the interest of young people, as observed by Tuoi Tre reporters early on a Friday morning.

Among the eager customers was 20-year-old Tran Thi Nguyet, who arrived at 3:30 a.m. after learning about the early opening hours on social media. She was joined by her friends, all intrigued by the online videos showcasing the cafe’s ambiance.

“We’re always on the lookout for new and interesting coffee shops to explore and take photos in,” Nguyet explained. “Whether it’s in the afternoon or late at night, we’re up for it as long as it’s appealing.”

Kim Nguyen Viet Hang, also 20, shared a similar sentiment. She is a regular customer of the brand but often found it challenging to visit due to her part-time work schedule. The early opening hours provided a novel and convenient experience for her.

University students Hoang Yen Nhu, 22, and Nguyen The Hien also shared their experiences. Nhu woke up at 2:00 a.m. to prepare for her early morning coffee outing, intrigued by the cafe’s unconventional operating hours. Hien, on the other hand, couldn’t sleep and decided to invite friends to join him for coffee, finding it surprising to see so many early risers.
