The upcoming biennial cultural-tourism event, celebrating the beauty of flowers, promises to be a spectacular display of nature’s artistry. As a highlight of the festival, hundreds of baskets filled with vibrant flowers and plants will adorn iconic tourism sites such as Xuan Huong Lake, Prenn Waterfall, and Le Dai Hanh Flower Road.
This festival is not just a feast for the eyes, but also a celebration of art and culture. It will feature a dedicated flower space, captivating art performances, fashion shows, and an exhibition that showcases the Central Highlands as a lush paradise.
Mark your calendars for the closing ceremony, which, along with a special art program, will bid farewell to 2024 and welcome a flourishing 2025.
The Da Lat Flower Festival, first organized in 2005, has blossomed into a significant cultural and tourist event in Lam Dong province. It serves as a tribute to the local flower growers and the region’s vibrant flora, while also offering a platform to promote investment, trade, and tourism opportunities.
Da Lat’s reputation as a flower festival city was solidified in 2012 when it received official recognition from the Prime Minister of Vietnam. This recognition further emphasized the city’s association with floral splendor.
In 2022, global travelers affirmed the city’s floral allure by voting Da Lat among the top 10 destinations in the world to admire flowers, according to Booking.com. This accolade adds to the city’s growing list of honors, including the Asia Festival City Award presented by the International Festivals & Events Association – Asia (IFEA – Asia), acknowledging the successful organization of the Da Lat Flower Festival since its inception.
