Spanning nearly 2.3 kilometers, the Hoang Cau-Voi Phuc section represents a substantial investment of over VND7.2 trillion (US$274 million), underscoring its importance to Hanoi’s infrastructure development.

The project encompasses a comprehensive range of components, including roadbed and pavement construction, intersections, drainage systems, utility tunnels, lighting, greenery, and sidewalks, ensuring a holistic upgrade to the area’s transportation network.

Designed with a cross-section width of 50 meters, the road will feature two overpasses at the Lang Ha-Giang Vo and Nguyen Chi Thanh intersections, enhancing traffic flow and connectivity.

To maintain the project’s ambitious schedule, contractors have organized workers into multiple construction teams, each assigned to specific sections along the route, ensuring efficient and coordinated progress.

Workers are divided into several specialized teams, simultaneously executing various construction tasks along the route, from foundation laying to utility installation, to expedite completion.

Areas along the route have been meticulously cleared, with all structures demolished to pave the way for the new road’s construction, symbolizing a transformative phase for the region.

Heavy machinery operates around the clock, ensuring that every aspect of the project remains on track and adheres to the stringent timeline set by authorities.

Specialized equipment is diligently clearing construction debris, meticulously preparing the roadbed to meet the highest standards of quality and durability.

Drainage systems are being concurrently developed alongside the roadbed and pavement, ensuring effective water management and long-term sustainability of the infrastructure.

A steady stream of construction materials is being transported to the site, amidst a bustling atmosphere of activity that envelops the entire project area, reflecting the scale and urgency of the endeavor.

Slated for completion in 2026, the Ring Road 1 project is poised to significantly alleviate traffic congestion and enhance Hanoi’s inner-city transport network, marking a new era of mobility and connectivity for the capital.
