Renowned Dutch vocalist dazzles in attire by Vietnamese designer

Emma Heesters, the renowned Dutch singer, has chosen a Vietnamese design for her captivating performance at the Muziekfeest van het Jaar music festival, which boasts an audience of over 17,000 people.

This is the second time Heesters has chosen a dress by Vietnamese designer Nguyen Minh Tuan. She previously wore his Horizon Gown in 2022 at a party in Dubai.

The elegant silver design was accentuated with long jeweled stockings and silver dance shoes, enhancing her allure and capturing the festive spirit of the year-end celebration.

The fashion designer shared that he completed the order for her dress within five days.

However, the singer did not disclose any details about the event or her choice of outfit. Therefore, he was pleasantly surprised to see her wearing his design at such a prominent music festival.

Emma Heesters, born in 1996, is a renowned Dutch singer and actress. She embarked on her music career in 2014 and gained recognition through a series of popular cover songs on her YouTube channel.

Her YouTube channel has garnered 5.88 million subscribers, with numerous English and Dutch music videos amassing millions of views.

In 2019, she became the first Dutch artist to win the MTV Push Award for her hit single “Pa Olvidarte” and was honored as the Best Dutch Act at the MTV EMA 2020. Heesters was also recognized as one of the top 40 most successful Dutch artists in 2020.

Muziekfeest van het Jaar is one of the largest annual music festivals in the Netherlands, showcasing top artists from the country.

This year’s event, held at Ziggo Dome Theatre in Amsterdam on December 8-9, featured renowned Dutch artists such as Wolter Kroes, René Karst, Mart Hoogkamer, Tino Martin, Frans Duijts, John West, René Froger, among others.

Tuan, born in 1992, graduated as the top student in the Fashion Design major at HCM City University of Technology in 2015. He has gained acclaim for his evening gowns created for beauty queens, runners-up, and contestants in beauty pageants.

Recently, he received orders for over 50 outfits from 13 out of 70 contestants for the Miss Grand International 2023 pageant.

Many of the beauty pageant contestants wearing his designs have dazzled on stage and have been crowned beauty queens, such as Miss Grand Australia 2023 Mikaela-Rose Fowler, Miss Supranational Caribbean 2023 Andreina Pereira, and second runner-up of Miss Universe 2022, Andreína Martínez.

The fashion designer and his team are currently busy preparing for the upcoming Miss Earth 2023, which will be held in Vietnam. Additionally, they are working on their new collection for the Dreams Come True fashion show, scheduled to take place in early 2024.
