The event has been organised by the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists with the aim of honouring various photographers who snapped excellent photos of the situation as a contribution to popularizing the communication campaign relating to COVID-19 prevention and control.
A number of the images on show have been selected from a contest launched by the association following the submission of 2,748 artworks from 406 entrants nationwide.
The exhibition has divided single photos and photo collections into various subjects, including Government guidelines, Vietnam in the fight against the COVID-19, education during the lockdown, the healthcare sector – pioneers in the struggle, and people uniting to combat the pandemic.
This comes after the first version of a similar exhibition took place in Hanoi, with Hue serving as the occasion’s second venue. The photo exhibition is therefore scheduled to go on display in other cities and provinces nationwide in the near future.
The event is scheduled to last until July 19.
