Truong Thinh has impressed audiences by taking on a leading role in the Vietnamese web-drama “Bụi đời chợ quê”.

The 31-year-old actor previously won the award for best web drama actor at the Ngôi Sao Xanh (Blue Star) Awards, a prestigious event in the Vietnamese television industry.

The Asian Television Awards was launched in 1996 with the goal of recognizing and rewarding excellence in programming and production in the Asian television industry.

The ceremony takes place every December and includes 56 categories across news, documentaries & current affairs, kids and animation, entertainment, drama, technical, and digital, as well as performance categories such as acting and directing.

The event typically receives around 1,400 entries each year from a wide range of broadcasters, including free-to-air TV stations, pay-TV platforms, OTT platforms, as well as many independent production companies in Asia.

The Asian Television Awards 2023 ceremony is scheduled to be held on January 12 and 13, 2024, in Ho Chi Minh City.
