The opening ceremony was a grand event that showcased the enchanting beauty of the Trang An Scenic Landscape Complex, a world cultural and natural heritage site.

The ceremony featured an art troupe from Udomxay province in Laos, as well as artists and artisans from different cultural regions of the country.

In her speech, Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuan highlighted the festival’s goal of connecting heritage sites and inter-regional tourism centers across the country, as well as promoting cultural exchange and preserving heritage values.

She expressed her hope that the festival would contribute to Ninh Binh’s efforts to prioritize the development of culture and the preservation of the province’s cultural values. These efforts are part of Ninh Binh’s plan to become a centrally-managed city by 2035 and a leading locality in the country’s cultural industry.

This year’s festival includes various activities that showcase the connection, convergence, and spread of cultural heritage within the locality and throughout the country.
