The event was described by the UK Ambassador to Vietnam Iain Frew as an opportunity to showcase the UK’s exceptional cultural traits to the Vietnamese people. It aims to deepen bilateral ties, improve mutual understanding, and initiate dialogues for cooperation in various fields.
He expressed his hope that the people of Da Nang would gain a deeper understanding of UK culture and its people, thus contributing to the consolidation of friendship between the two countries.
Highlighting the strong strategic partnership between Vietnam and the UK, Vice Chairman of the municipal People’s Committee Ho Ky Minh emphasized the importance of the musical in promoting bilateral cultural exchanges that enhance friendship and mutual understanding.
He also mentioned the ongoing delegation exchanges and wide range of cooperation programs between Da Nang and the UK.
