Currently, details about Maroon 5’s performance in Phu Quoc are being kept under wraps.
The American pop rock band will be taking the stage at the second 8Wonder Winter Festival on December 16, marking their first-ever concert in Vietnam.
During their 75-minute show, the band is expected to perform 11 of their biggest hits, including “This Love”, “Moves Like Jagger”, “One More Night”, “Sugar”, “Don’t Wanna Know”, “Sunday Morning”, “Girls Like You”, “Memories”, “Animals”, “Maps”, and “She Will Be Loved”.
The band’s upcoming performance in Vietnam has garnered much attention from media and fans over the past couple of months. Many fans are excited for the highly anticipated show, which is set to leave a lasting positive impression at the 8Wonder Nha Trang music festival.
Joining Maroon 5 at the music festival will be numerous notable Vietnamese celebrities, including Toc Tien, GreyD, JustaTee, Phuong Ly, Double2T, and DJ 2PILLZ.
Formed in 2002, the six-member band gained popularity with their hit singles “Harder to Breathe”, “This Love”, and “She Will Be Loved”. Their album “Songs About Jane” reached number six on the Billboard 200 chart in 2005 and achieved quadruple platinum status. That same year, the band won the Grammy Award for Best New Artist.
In May 2007, Maroon 5 released their second album “It Won’t Be Soon Before Long”, which debuted at number one on the US Billboard 200 chart. The lead single “Makes Me Wonder” became the band’s first number-one single on the Billboard Hot 100.
With over 135 million records sold, Maroon 5 is one of the world’s best-selling music bands. In fact, their hit song “Moves Like Jagger” became the second most downloaded song of all time in January.
