The conclusion of the event saw 35 contestants compete in a spectacular talent show, an exquisite Ao Dai (Vietnamese traditional long dress) contest, and a stunning evening gown competition. All of the competitors dazzled the audience with their grace, beauty, and talent. It was a truly unforgettable night!

The top five featured contestants from Laos, Myanmar, and Vietnam have been chosen to enter the Q&A segment. These talented individuals represent the best of the best from these three countries.

The first and second runner-up spots were awarded to Pham Thi Ngoc Thanh and Do Anh Sa of Vietnam, respectively.

Other Southeast Asian contestants from Laos, the Philippines, and Myanmar won sub-titles, including Miss Media, Miss Fashion, and Miss Sports.

This year, the first edition of the Da Nang International Beauty Pageant is set to be organised by the Da Nang administration in partnership with the Da Nang Union of Friendship Organisations and embassies from various Southeast Asian nations. This highly anticipated event promises to be an unforgettable experience for all involved, with the aim of celebrating beauty and culture in the region. Be sure to mark your calendars, as this is an event you won’t want to miss!

The aim of this competition is to strengthen solidarity and camaraderie among the member states of Southeast Asia, while also encouraging female entrepreneurs to play a role in the overall socio-economic growth of the region. By participating in this contest, participants can benefit from the opportunity to build meaningful connections and foster collaboration between countries. Additionally, female businesswomen will be able to showcase their skills and abilities, thereby playing a crucial role in the development of Southeast Asia.

Launched six months ago, all contestants took part in a range of activities that offered an enriching experience. These included a photo tour of local tourist destinations, as well as visiting Agent Orange (AO) victims and disadvantaged children. By participating in these activities, the contestants were able to gain a better understanding of the struggles that these populations face on a daily basis.

The event was the Vietnam’s National Final of Miss ASEAN Friendship 2017, held in Hanoi.
