Fukushima is a place that brings together various attractions of Japan, such as hot springs, castle architecture, cherry blossoms, fresh seafood like oysters and scallops, and fresh fruits like peaches.
Not to be missed are dishes like Kitakata ramen and Kozuyu soup, as well as various tourist spots that allow visitors to immerse themselves in the abundant nature and ancient traditions of Japan.
Fukushima has made a gradual recovery since the 2011 earthquake and tsunami, emerging as a completely revitalized tourist destination.
Visitors also have the opportunity to explore images that document Fukushima’s journey of reconstruction and tourism development.
The festival is organized by the Japan Reconstruction Agency in collaboration with the Japan National Tourism Organization and the Japan External Trade Organization.
