Ninh Binh, a province nestled amidst picturesque mountains in the Red River Delta’s southernmost reaches, offers a captivating blend of natural splendor and cultural allure, approximately 100 kilometers from Hanoi.

The group embarked on their journey on a Tuesday afternoon, choosing Hanoi as their gateway to explore three enchanting destinations in northern Vietnam: Hanoi, Ninh Binh Province, and Quang Ninh Province.

These tourists were especially keen to embark on a unique voyage through Trang An’s network of breathtaking caves aboard small, eco-friendly boats.

Following their exploration of Trang An, the group savored a delightful vegan lunch at Trang An 5 Restaurant in Ninh Binh City. The meal featured six main courses, carefully crafted with 90% of the ingredients sourced from India, offering a taste of home away from home.

This extraordinary trip was organized by billionaire Dilip Shangvi, the founder of Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Limited, as a token of appreciation for his dedicated team. The delegation comprised 4,500 guests, primarily from India, along with international colleagues, who were accommodated in 11 four- and five-star hotels across Hanoi.

To ensure a personalized experience, the employees were divided into smaller groups for their tour, which spanned from August 27 to September 3.

The Trang An Scenic Landscape Complex, a UNESCO World Cultural and Natural Heritage Site since June 2014, stands as a testament to the region’s rich history and natural beauty.

Trang An holds a distinguished position as the 31st mixed heritage site globally, the 11th in the Asia-Pacific region, and the very first in Vietnam and Southeast Asia.

With its awe-inspiring landscape, Trang An captivates visitors with its limestone karst peaks, submerged valleys, and imposing cliffs, creating an unforgettable visual spectacle.
