The Director of HCM City Department of Tourism, Nguyen Thi Anh Hoa, has recently initiated a programme aimed at supporting travel agencies that have been adversely impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Hoa stated that approximately 100 travel agencies have agreed to participate in the programme, providing tourism products at discounted rates ranging from 10 to 50 percent.

In an effort to promote tourism in Ho Chi Minh City, numerous tours have been enhanced or introduced to entice people to visit and explore the city.

The Saigontourist Travel Service Company is currently presenting an array of enticing tour options for our valued clientele. Our offerings include guided tours to captivating locations such as Can Gio, Sac Forest, and Hang Duong Market.

At TST Tourist Company, we pride ourselves on catering to the unique interests and preferences of our esteemed customers. Our exclusive tour packages feature the ever-popular Saigon Water Bus tour, as well as unforgettable visits to the esteemed Ao Dai Museum and the innovative Hi-tech Agricultural Park in Cu Chi District.

Nguyen Huu Y Yen, the General Director of Saigontourist Travel Service Company, has announced a strategic collaboration between his company, the HCM City Department of Tourism, and the Tourism Association. This partnership aims to establish a comprehensive association programme connecting HCM City with 13 provinces in the Mekong Delta region and six provinces in the Southeast region.

Several tours have been introduced as part of this program, and they have been well-received by the local community.

“Saigontourist aims to leverage its extensive network across the nation in efforts to introduce new tourism offerings that will attract a larger number of visitors to Ho Chi Minh City. With the upcoming Ao dai Festival, tourists will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in this vibrant celebration,” stated Yen.

Nguyen Minh Man, the Communications Director of TST Tourist Company, expressed that the stimulus programme tours will not only generate demand but also establish a new trend in domestic travel.

The tours will also afford tourists the opportunity to immerse themselves in the vibrant, dynamic, and ever-evolving city of HCM City.

The Hop On – Hop Off bus, river buses, and the upcoming metro system are integral to the effectiveness of our new tours, stated the spokesperson.

Our company offers a wide range of high-quality products.

Numerous companies have launched high-quality promotional campaigns in an effort to attract a greater number of tourists.

Huynh Phan Phuong Hoang, Deputy General Director of Vietravel Tourism, announced that the company is offering a variety of discounted tours, with savings of up to 50 percent.

According to the speaker, the Southeast region and HCM City are secure and attractive tourism destinations. As a result, it is recommended to implement incentive tours in order to drive sales. Notably, tours to Cu Chi, Tay Ninh, Can Gio, Vung Tau, and Con Dao have gained significant popularity.

Fiditour – Vietluxtour Travel Company has recently implemented a price reduction of 10 to 30 per cent on its tour packages. This enticing offer has garnered considerable interest, particularly for the cultural and historical tours between Ho Chi Minh City and several provinces in the West and Southeast regions.

According to a representative from Fiditour – Vietluxtour Travel, Ho Chi Minh City has great potential for cultural tourism among various types of tourists. However, in order to overcome the perception that HCM City is only a transit point, the tourism industry needs to offer high-quality products and showcase the city as a unique destination.

“The tourism products available in HCM City should prioritize high quality offerings instead of solely focusing on affordability. This shift is necessary to cater to the growing demand from tourists hailing from various provinces,” stated Man. VNS
