The Hanoi People’s Committee has instructed all agencies to collaborate in ensuring seamless and secure commemorative events.

The Hanoi Department of Public Security is tasked with developing comprehensive plans, implementing preventive measures, and coordinating with local authorities to strengthen surveillance and mitigate potential risks.

Police officers will be on constant duty, particularly at key event locations during rehearsals and the official ceremony, to swiftly address any emerging situations.

Traffic safety is a priority, with increased police presence at major intersections to manage flow and prevent congestion during peak periods.

Hanoi is also intensifying fire safety awareness campaigns. Local authorities will conduct inspections in high-risk and crowded areas to identify and mitigate potential hazards.

Detailed emergency response plans are in place to minimize harm to people and property in case of any incidents.

The city is taking a firm stance against social vices, urging citizens to avoid unlawful activities and promising strict consequences for any violations that disrupt public order.

The Department of Construction is responsible for ensuring the efficiency of drainage systems, particularly along parade routes and areas hosting delegates and international guests.

They will also prepare contingency plans and have personnel on standby to respond to any incidents, guaranteeing safety throughout the National Day celebrations.

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh issued Official Dispatch No. 145/CD-TTg on August 24th, directing all ministries, sectors, and localities to enhance safety, security, public order, environmental hygiene, and medical preparedness for the National Day holiday.

The Prime Minister emphasized the importance of ensuring absolute safety for the public, characterizing the event as a significant political and social occasion for the nation to celebrate its history and honor past generations.
