The vibrant city of Da Nang is gearing up for an exciting summer with a host of captivating events and festivals. As revealed at a press conference on June 3, the city will kick things off with a grand music fest on July 17, followed by an artistic kite show from July 17 to 19, and a unique performance by 15 sailboats gracing the Han River on July 20.

The summer festivities will also include a mouth-watering cuisine festival with 50 stalls, along with energetic street carnivals and dances. The highly anticipated Da Nang International Fireworks Festival (DIFF) 2024 will commence on the evening of June 8, showcasing the cultural essence of the city. This opening night will see a spectacular competition between the reigning champions, ArtEventia from France, and the host team from Da Nang, Vietnam. A new and exciting addition to this year’s festival is the Jetski & Flyboard artistic sports show, which promises a mesmerizing blend of water and aerial dances, extreme sports, and fireworks displays.

Speaking at the press conference, Vice Chairman of the Da Nang People’s Committee, Ho Ky Minh, emphasized the city’s focus on diversifying tourism products and establishing Da Nang as a leading festival and event destination in Asia. He assured that the municipal authorities are committed to supporting organizations and businesses in hosting memorable events and festivals, thereby fostering the development of new and exciting tourism offerings.
