Some of the occasion’s highlights are set to include a ceremony dedicated to the Hung Kings which will take place on April 2, the 10th day of the third lunar month, and a memorial aimed at commemorating the death of National Father Lac Long Quan. In addition, an incense offering ceremony paying tribute to the National Mother Au Co will take place on March 29, the sixth day of the third lunar month.
Each of these events will be held at the Hung Kings Temple historical site in Viet Tri and in the city’s surrounding areas in Phu Tho province.
The festival will see a wide range of activities organised, including a ritual offering incense to the kings, photo exhibitions, and folk games.
Moreover, a number of traditional music performances and sports competitions will be featured throughout the festival.
