The exhibition was inaugurated on Friday evening and started welcoming visitors from Saturday until July 9, from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm at LAGarden Restaurant – Lan Anh Village, at 2 Street 45 in Thu Thiem Ward, Thu Duc City, Ho Chi Minh City.

‘Italy: From Plein Air to Atelier’ showcases 30 artworks by two Vietnamese artists who drew inspiration from the natural and cultural landscapes of Italy.

The artists, Bui Duy Khanh and Duong Thuy, who spent several months in Italy, employed plein air techniques to depict the European country’s luminosity, hues, and ambiance.

Their artworks merge Italian influences with their distinctive Vietnamese sensibilities, resulting in a harmonious blend of styles and perspectives.

The exhibition is expected to offer a poignant artistic portrayal of the distinctive cultural elements while signifying the long-lasting friendship and the importance of diplomatic ties between the two countries.

Additionally, it is planned to serve as a platform for cultural exchange and a bridge that connects the artistic communities and enthusiasts from both nations, fostering engagement, sharing, and mutual support in their artistic journeys and development.

There will be an art talk featuring a conversation with the artists from 9:00 am to 11:00 am on Sunday, July 2.
From 10:00 am to 12:00 pm on Friday, July 7, an art tour is scheduled with a conversation with the curator.
