Stores in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City are celebrating British food and drink products in Vietnam as part of the two-week ‘GREAT Food for the Season’ campaign. The campaign, launched by the British Consulate General in Ho Chi Minh City in partnership with Annam Gourmet, highlights Christmas products that are in high demand during the holiday season. These products include British chocolate, biscuits, shortbread, whisky, gin, and tea from renowned British brands like Cadbury’s, Walkers, and English Tea Shop.
The ‘GREAT Food for the Season’ campaign offers discounts of up to 50% on chocolate products and up to 10% on other goods included in the campaign at ten Annam Gourmet stores from December 14 to 28. Additionally, samples of the products will be available at five stores on December 14, 15, 21, and 22.
“We know that food is such a crucial part of any culture, and we’re thrilled to share a big part of our culture through food with the Vietnamese audience,” said British Consul General in Ho Chi Minh City Emily Hamblin at the launch event on Thursday.
“You can expect not only the incredible quality and diversity of British food and drink but also world-leading standards on areas such as food safety, animal welfare, and sustainability. The ‘GREAT Food for the Season’ campaign is the perfect way to conclude an exciting year of activity in Vietnam during 2023, a special year where we have celebrated the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the UK and Vietnam,” she added.
Commercial and operations manager of Annam Gourmet, Anhais Leherpeur, expressed her excitement to be a part of the event. “This event is a testament to our commitment to bringing the finest international culinary experiences to our discerning customers,” she said.
