Beach enthusiasts flock to marvel at rocks covered in lush moss, creating a picturesque and captivating sight.
A large number of locals and tourists gathered at the reef off the beach in Hoa Hiep Ward, Lien Chieu District on Tuesday morning to admire the pristine landscape.
When the sun shines, the moss-covered rocks turn the reef green and sparkle amidst the crystal clear blue waters.
Some locals have pointed out that the best time to visit the moss-covered rock reef is during the spring season, right after the Tet festival.
The moss undergoes a growth period of over two weeks, creating a vibrant and enchanting display on the rocks.

Visitors are advised to visit the beach during sunrise or sunset, when the tides are low and the moss-covered rocks emerge, creating the illusion of a vast green carpet on the water’s surface.
Phan Thi Mai Phuong, a 32-year-old resident of Thua Thien-Hue Province, a neighboring province of Da Nang, said that she and her friends were inspired to visit Nam O Beach after seeing the viral images of the charming moss-covered rock reef on social media.
“It is truly mesmerizing to admire these moss-covered rocks and take photos with the sea, the reef, and the ‘green carpet’,” said Phuong.
