The purpose of the event is to celebrate the 50th founding anniversary of Australia-Vietnam diplomatic ties. This event will feature free screenings of the animated series Bluey at various locations in Vietnam. The screenings will take place at CGV Vincom Metropolis in Hanoi, the Institute of Cultural Exchange with France (IDECAF) in Ho Chi Minh City, CGV Vincom Riverview Complex in Da Nang, and CGV Sense City in Can Tho.
Three episodes of Bluey will be screened with a Vietnamese voiceover, including “Grannies”, “Beaches”, and “The Magic Xylophone”. Each episode will last for a total of seven minutes.

Bluey is an Australian pre-school animated television series that premiered on ABC Kids on October 1, 2018. The show follows Bluey, an energetic and curious six-year-old Blue Heeler puppy. Bluey lives with her father, Bandit; her mother, Chilli; and her younger sister, Bingo. They regularly join Bluey on imaginative adventures and play.
Bluey has received several awards, including the Logie Award for Most Outstanding Children’s Programme and an International Emmy Kids Award in 2019.
