This heartwarming film showcases the power of transnational love, following the story of a Vietnamese girl and an Indian man who navigate their way through cultural differences and family norms, all while exploring the beautiful landscapes of Vietnam.
With a star-studded cast, including Kha Ngan, Shantanu Maheshwari, and Avneet Kaur, ‘Love in Vietnam’ is set to capture the hearts of audiences worldwide. The first glimpse of the film was revealed at the prestigious 77th Cannes Film Festival, leaving audiences eager for more.
Be sure to catch ‘Love in Vietnam’ at the Busan International Film Festival in South Korea from October 2 to 11 and keep an eye out for its upcoming showcase at the International Film Festival of India in Goa (IFFI-GOA).

Consul General Sethi emphasized that the film will be a beautiful portrayal of the unique cultural, culinary, and traditional similarities and differences between the two nations. It will also highlight the strength and intelligence of Vietnamese women through its compelling characters.
“I hope this film will be widely screened in both India and Vietnam, bridging our nations and celebrating our special relationship,” Sethi shared at the press conference. “It is also an opportunity to showcase the brilliance of Bollywood and Vietnam’s film industry on a global stage.”
Captain Rahul Bali, the film’s director, attended the briefing and shed light on how ‘Love in Vietnam’ goes beyond a love story. It also promotes tourism by showcasing the exquisite cultural qualities and famous attractions of both countries.
The film crew scouted breathtaking locations in south-central Vietnam, including Lam Dong, Khanh Hoa, and Phu Yen, ensuring that the natural beauty of the country shines through in every frame.
To celebrate the International Day of Yoga, Ho Chi Minh City’s Nguyen Hue Pedestrian Street buzzed with energy as approximately 1,000 yoga enthusiasts from India and Vietnam came together in a united practice. Yoga has experienced a remarkable rise in popularity in Vietnam over the last decade, especially in major cities.
