The exhibition named “Awakening The Architectural Beauty of Chau Long Street Through the Perspective of Urban Sketching” is currently showcased at Van Xuan Flower Garden, Quan Thanh Ward, Ba Dinh District, Hanoi until March 24th.
This exhibition is the outcome of a sketch drawing contest themed around Hanoi, organized by Urban Sketchers Hanoi Group.
Urban Sketchers Hanoi, which was established in 2016 by a group of architects including Tran Thi Thanh Thuy, Dinh Hai, Chu Quoc Binh, and Nguyen Hoang Lam, aims to preserve Hanoi’s beauty and share their love for the city with the community through sketching. They also strive to raise awareness about the protection and promotion of Hanoi’s heritage and cultural values.
The exhibition focuses on discovering and showcasing the unique beauty of Chau Long Street from the perspectives of many street sketchers of various ages. The founders of Urban Sketchers Hanoi depict the city’s culture, history, art, and architecture in their paintings, with special attention given to the precious ancient works during the process of urbanization.
The exhibition will continue at Ngu Xa night food street from March 30th to April 7th.
