“Vietnamese Bronze Figures: Unveiling Ancient Artistry”

Hanoi’s Old Quarter Cultural Exchange Center is hosting a captivating exhibition, “Vietnamese Bronze Figures,” as part of the “Indigenous Bronze” series. On display from now until December 15th, this exhibition delves into the rich history of Vietnamese bronzeware and its enduring legacy.

The “Vietnamese Bronze Figures” exhibition showcases contemporary bronze artworks, offering a unique twist on traditional craftsmanship.

Organized by the management boards of Hoan Kiem Lake and the Hanoi Old Quarter, this event celebrates Vietnam’s Cultural Heritage Day and the centenary of the excavation of Dong Son cultural relics. It comprises exhibitions, discussions, and musical performances, creating a holistic experience centered on Vietnamese bronzes.

With over 20 artifacts, archaeological specimens, traditional tools, and bronze paintings and statues, the exhibition is a testament to the country’s rich cultural heritage. Dao Ngoc Han, a member of the Vietnam Archaeological Association, highlights the event’s aim to introduce Dong Son culture to both locals and foreign tourists, showcasing the unique artistry of indigenous people.
