A new game show called Let’s Feast Vietnam has made its debut, bringing together 14 talented content creators and key opinion leaders (KOLs) from six countries and territories, including Vietnam, the Philippines, Indonesia, South Korea, China, Taiwan, and Hong Kong. Through fun challenges and activities, the contestants will compete for the grand prize, an all-expenses-paid trip to explore the beautiful sights and culture of Vietnam. The show promises to provide viewers with an exciting, immersive experience, as they watch the contestants embark on an unforgettable culinary journey.

They have just arrived in Hanoi to begin their incredible journey in Vietnam. Hanoi, along with the northern province of Quang Ninh’s Ha Long Bay, the southern province of Kien Giang’s Phu Quoc Island, and Ho Chi Minh City are four destinations full of local cultural and tourism activities that are sure to challenge them.

“Let’s Feast Vietnam” is a reality program that showcases the best of Vietnamese culture, tourism, and cuisine. Co-produced by BHD and Meta, with the guidance and support of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, this unique show provides an immersive tour of Vietnam’s vibrant culture, breathtaking landscapes, and delicious culinary offerings. With stunning visuals and engaging stories, viewers will be able to experience the best of the country from the comfort of their own homes.

The 14 players (divided into seven teams) will collaborate to complete two exciting missions, tackling challenges related to travel, incredible scenery, cooking, and unique culinary experiences. Additionally, they will produce short videos (reels) to showcase their personalities, while highlighting Vietnamese culture, tourism, and cuisine on today’s most popular social networking platforms.

The teams will be distinguished by colors. Thao Nhi Le, the runner-up for Vietnam Miss Universe 2021 with more than 796,000 followers, and Vu Dino, a popular food blogger with more than 137,000 followers, will make up the Green Team, are among the most popular young faces on Vietnamese social media. Korean influencer Hwang Joowon and young actor Rocker Nguyen (163,000 followers) make up the Red Team.

Other KOLs include Miss Charm 2023 runner-up Olivia Tan from Indonesia (111,000 followers), Blue Team members Arsyan Dwianto and Machel Wie – two of Indonesia’s top 3 chefs with 136,000 and 176,000 followers respectively.

Food and travel are two of the most popular topics on Facebook and Instagram, according to Khoi Le, a spokesperson for the organizing board. In fact, these two have consistently ranked high in terms of published content and views.
It’s no wonder why these two topics are so popular – they offer readers a chance to explore new cuisines, visit far-off places, and experience new cultures. Not to mention, they provide an escape from the everyday, allowing people to indulge in the simple pleasure of enjoying a tasty meal or discovering a new destination.
Whether it’s trying a unique dish or planning a road trip, food and travel content give people something to look forward to. And with the help of social media, these experiences can be shared with friends and family, making the adventure even more memorable.

“For this reason,” said Khoi Le, “Let’s Feast Vietnam is a special opportunity for creators to collaborate, produce content, and discover unique experiences that cannot be found anywhere else in the world. This will allow them to promote the culture and Vietnam to a global audience in a creative and effective manner.”

Currently, the program has wrapped up filming and is in post-production. This show is anticipated to be available to viewers on various platforms this Summer.
