Located about 8km from the center of Da Lat city, Puppy Farm is an ideal destination for pet lovers. You will have the opportunity to play with cute dogs all day and explore the gardens. Pham Thi Thuy Van is the manager of Puppy Farm.
“Visiting Puppy Farm, you can play with the dogs and visit our gardens and flower hills. We have invested in this farm model for more than ten years, most importantly selecting and breeding good dogs,” Van said.
There are many puppies at Puppy Farm, from Corgis to friendly Huskies.
“The dogs are divided into two areas. One is for the bigger dogs with long fur – the Samoyeds and Huskies. These dogs are very friendly and nice, so the visitors really love to play and take photos with them. The second area is for the smaller dogs with short fur. All of them are adorable and extremely friendly,” said Manager Van.
Puppy Farm Da Lat has only been open for a short time, but it has become popular with young people. The farm has more than 100 dogs, and each is attractive, clean, and gentle.
“I love dogs. This is my first time here, and I really enjoy playing with the dogs. The dogs here are super cute and friendly. Besides playing and taking photos with the dogs, I also enjoy visiting the flower and vegetable gardens here,” said La Thi Uyen, a visitor from the southern province of Binh Duong.
Huynh Cong Thuong, who takes care of the dogs at Puppy Farm, said, “Safety is the most important factor here and then hygiene. All the dogs have regular health checks and vaccinations. They are also regularly bathed. We only select the friendly kinds of dogs here.”
Manager Van further elaborated on how the dogs are cared of and how safety are secured at Puppy Farm, “We work with an animal hospital to take care of our dogs. All the dogs here receive special care and are fully vaccinated, so visitors can play with them without worrying. We make sure that our dogs are always in good condition.”
“Our staff are trained to deal with visitors, and every child under six must be accompanied by an adult when they play with the dogs,” Van said.
Next to Puppy Farm is a colorful flower garden reminiscent of Da Lat.
“Hills full of lavender, daisies, and sunflowers stretch over 10 hectares. We also have a fresh green vegetable garden where we grow specialties of Da Lat like strawberries, pumpkins, and cherry tomatoes. These juicy red strawberries and these beautiful little cherry tomatoes look wonderful, don’t they?” said Van.
Visitor Thu Hang and her daughter really enjoyed Puppy Farm. “My daughter, who is only 16 months old, loves it here. This farm is a great place for families with children. The children can play with the dogs and explore the gardens,” Hang said.
Visitors can buy clean Da Lat specialties like strawberries, jackfruit, and sweet potatoes as gifts, but these delicious treats are no substitute for spending a few delightful hours here in person.
