The FPdGi International Award 2022 was presented to Trang Nguyen, the founder and director of a centre on action for wildlife (WildAct), for her courage and conservation activities that inspired Vietnamese and world community.

Trang Nguyen is also the author of an art book about wildlife entitled “Chang Hoang Da – Gau” (Saving Sorya, Chang and The Sun Bear).

Jury President of the FPdGi International Award Pedro Alonsosaid Thu Trang expressed her especial combination of leadership, perseverance and humility while pursuing a multidisciplinary approach consisting of local action with global issues and the encouragement of women and young people in the protection of nature.
