Organised by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the programme was attended by Members of the Party Central Committee (PCC): Nguyen Van Hung, Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism; Le Quoc Minh, Editor-in-Chief of Nhan Dan (People) Newspaper, Deputy Head of the PCC Commission for Communication and Education, and Chairman of the Vietnam Journalists’ Association; together with representatives of relevant ministries and sectors.
Speaking at the programme, Minister Nguyen Van Hung shared: Over the past years, the epidemic has negatively impacted all areas of social life. Cultural, artistic, sports and tourism activities were almost frozen. The whole cultural sector has united and determined to carry out the tasks set by the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress in the field of culture, sport and tourism.

The minister affirmed that the programme shows the Party and State’s interest in artists; timely encouraging them to continue to create many unique art works, contributing to building and developing Vietnamese culture and people, to meet the country’s sustainable development requirements.
The programme introduced and honoured 78 artists who won First Prize, Gold Medal and Excellence Award of three festivals held over the past year, including: National Circus Talent Competition 2021, National Drama Festival 2021 and the National Dance and Music Festival in 2021.

At the same time, the organising board also honoured MV works of music, dance and art programmes, in the art production selection of video recordings on propaganda and prevention of the COVID-19 epidemic.
During the programme, the guest artists and the award-winning artists from recent contests, also presented the public with special art performances.
