Hanoi Buffaloes transforms with two team records
Prior to this year’s season, Hanoi Buffaloes had been praised for having a very strong defensive line, but their play style was considered quite monotonous.
In addition, the team’s offensive tactics depended heavily on 2.06-meter-tall Mike Bell.
At the VBA Premier Bubble Games, the Buffaloes had a complete transformation with a new and improved offensive strategy.
The team even broke the VBA team record for sinking the most three-pointers in a single game with a total of 17 successful shots.

Aside from Minh Hieu, all of the players from Hanoi Buffaloes had at least one successful three-pointer throughout the game.
Doan Xuan Tung had the highest accuracy after being able to sink three out of four three-pointer attempts.
In their opening game, Hanoi Buffaloes defeated Nha Trang Dolphins with 110 points, setting another team record for the most points in a single clash.
Personal records were broken
Daquan Bracey of Saigon Heat wowed fans after scoring a whopping 51 points in one game, breaking the VBA record for the most points by a player in a single match.

Despite being only 1.8 meters tall, Bracey was capable of dishing out unstoppable attacks with excellent skills and agility.
Antony Sundberg, another player from Saigon Heat, broke the record for the most three-pointers in a game thanks to his eight successful attempts.
Sundberg broke the record set by Vo Kim Ban at the VBA 2020.
Vincent Nguyen of Ho Chi Minh City Wings also left a good impression with a 100-percent accuracy rate for free throws.
The player was able to sink 14 out of 14 free-throw attempts throughout the season.
