Students, professionals and academics at the event shared with each other innovations in plastic recycling, biodegradable chewing gum and eco-friendly packaging materials.
At the showcase, the Dow Vietnam judges lauded the projects with the most effective solutions, teamwork and presentation.
Specifically, the HCMC University of Technology and Education, whose project is entitled “Innovative solution to solve the environmental problem caused by discarded chewing gum”, won the Best Presentation Prize.
Danang University of Technology, with “A platform for plastic waste management” project, received the Best Teamwork Prize, while the HCMC University of Technology won the Most Effective Solution Prize for its “A unique solution to reuse construction materials” project.
Through eProjects, the students learned technical communication, team collaboration and project management. With patient mentoring, the students developed the soft and technical skills needed to succeed in their advanced science and technology careers.
