Novaland also donated VND80 million to the education promotion funds of eight schools in the Long Khanh A and Long Khanh B communes in the province’s Hong Ngu District.

Over the past 16 years, the Teacher Nhe Scholarship program initiated by Novaland has given thousands of scholarships to needy students in the two communes and helped many local schools improve their quality of education.

The scholarship handover ceremony was held at the Teacher Phan Thi Nhe branch of Long Khanh A3 Primary School in Hong Ngu District. The branch, which has two floors and 10 classrooms, was funded by the Novaland Group and put into operation in June 2020.

With a construction cost of VND23 billion, this is the first school in the district that is equipped with modern facilities comprising rooms for physical education, art, information technology, foreign languages and healthcare, a library, a conference room and a green yard.

Besides the scholarships, the students received stationery items provided by the Thien Long Group. Moreover, excellent students at the Teacher Phan Thi Nhe branch will be provided with free stationery from Thien Long for five years.

Phan Thi Nhe used to be a teacher at the Long Khanh A3 Primary School. After retirement, she joined hands with the Novaland Group to support poor students in the district by providing them with scholarships.

In addition to the Teacher Nhe Scholarship program, the Novaland Group earlier donated VND400 million to give scholarships to the valedictorians of the college entrance exam nationwide and granted scholarships to over 190 college students with outstanding academic performance.

The group is also carrying out a number of other programs to support students affected by the recent floods and typhoons in the central provinces.
