The site spreads over many districts of Cao Bang province, including Ha Quang, Tra Linh, Trung Khanh, Ha Lang, Phuc Hoa, Hoa An, Nguyen Binh, and Thach An. The park is most well-known for its high rate of biological diversity, along with being home to abundant endemic flora-fauna species and ecosystems.
