Tran Quoc pagoda listed among world’s ten incredibly beautiful ones

NDO – Tran Quoc Pagoda in Hanoi has been listed by UK travel website wanderlust.co.uk among ten incredibly beautiful pagodas from around the world.

According to the website’s rankings, Tran Quoc pagoda ranked third.

The 1,500-year-old pagoda, which is located on a small peninsula on the east side of West Lake, is the oldest of its kindin Hanoi.

It was voted by the UK’s Daily Mail as one of 16 most beautiful pagodas in the world.

The website also highlighted the attractive beauty of the pagoda’s lakeside setting.

The Bodhi tree is one of most beautiful features in Tran Quoc Pagoda. It grew from a cutting taken from the original tree in Boh Gaya in India, under which the Buddha sat and achieved enlightenment.

Other incredibly beautiful pagodas on the list included Big Wild Goose Pagoda in Xian (China), Yellow Crane Pagoda in Wuhan(China), Toji Pagoda in Kyoto (Japan), Taoist Temple in Cebu (the Philippines), Kew Gardens in London (UK), Three Pagodasin Dali (China), Chureito Pagoda in Fujiyoshida (Japan), The Pagoda on Skyline Drive in Pennsylvania (USA), and Taipei 101 in Chinese Taipei.
