Nguyen Dang Hai Nam has recently unveiled his latest solo exhibition, “Color of Spring,” at the Fine Art Exhibition House in Hanoi’s Hoan Kiem District. The show, located at 16 Ngo Quyen, has captivated art enthusiasts with its celebration of the artist’s hometown.

The exhibition showcases nearly 40 watercolor paintings that pay homage to Hanoi and Vietnam. Each artwork is a love letter to the places where Hai Nam grew up, with each piece offering a unique perspective and charm. One of the standout pieces, “The Miraculous Journey of Connection,” captures the iconic Long Bien Bridge, a symbol of the railway connection between Hanoi and Haiphong. Another painting, “Hanoi Opera House – Melody of the Country,” showcases the grand theater, the oldest of its kind in Hanoi. The exhibition also includes “Autumn for You,” a heartwarming scene of the Old Quarter during the Mid-Autumn Festival, illuminated by the warm glow of lanterns.
Le Tien Vuong, a renowned artist and head of the Artstar Children’s Art Club, praised Hai Nam’s work, stating, “Hai Nam demonstrates a masterful skill in watercolor, with a unique ability to combine colors and light. His gentle and luminous tones capture the beauty of nature and evoke the warmth and tranquility that Hanoi is known for.”
