Haiphong to Host Belgium’s Cultural Extravaganza and Culinary Delights in 2024

At a press conference for B.Fest, held in Hai Phong on October 9, the Belgian Ambassador to Vietnam, Karl Van Den Bossche, highlighted the event as an anticipated annual celebration of Belgian culture in the northern port city. B.Fest offers a diverse range of Belgian beers, cuisine, music, and entertainment for locals to enjoy.

With the theme “Awaken the Senses,” B.Fest 2024 invites guests to embark on a sensory journey through Belgium’s rich and renowned culinary landscape.

The festival will feature a remarkable collection of nearly 30 varieties of Belgian beer, including some rare finds not presented in previous years.

A plethora of activities are planned, including dazzling fireworks displays, live music performances, chef demonstrations, and engaging mini-games, ensuring a fun-filled experience for all attendees.

B.Fest is more than just a beer festival; it aims to create an explosive entertainment extravaganza, fusing sound, light, and unique festival decor to provide a truly immersive experience.

Local singing talents will take the stage alongside renowned DJs like Alexandra and Belgian DJ Loveboat (Discobar Galaxie). They will keep the festive vibe going with their energetic EDM sets over the three nights.

Additionally, a seminar on innovation and sustainable development will be held on October 25, showcasing the investment opportunities that Hai Phong offers to both domestic and foreign investors.

Organized jointly by the Embassy of Belgium, the DEEP C Industrial Zones—the largest Belgian-invested project in Vietnam—and the Belgian and Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam, B.Fest first debuted in 2019 and returned with great success in 2022. B.Fest 2023 attracted approximately 6,000 visitors, serving as a cultural bridge between Belgium and Vietnam, fostering mutual understanding and appreciation.
