When asked about her perspective on the country’s tourism, Phuong Anh eloquently described Vietnam as a nation endowed with breathtaking landscapes, historic treasures, and a rich cultural heritage. She emphasized its peaceful nature, diverse cuisine, and the warm hospitality of its people.
Currently pursuing studies in beauty care at Hanoi College of Medicine, Phuong Anh was crowned the winner, adorned with a stunning VND2 billion crown inspired by the graceful lotus—a symbolic flower representing Vietnam’s purity and resilience in the face of challenges.
As the newly crowned ambassador, Phuong Anh will dedicate the next two years to actively participating in a myriad of promotional activities, further enhancing the country’s cultural and tourism appeal.
The beauty contest, inaugurated in July, sought to identify exceptional individuals who could serve as cultural ambassadors, showcasing the very best of Vietnam to the international community.
The finale, held in Quang Ngai City on August 14, witnessed a talented pool of 30 finalists. They gracefully navigated through the Ao Dai, swimsuit, and evening gown segments, with the top 8 contenders advancing to the Q&A round.
