InBook: A Literary Gateway to the World

InBook is a haven for readers seeking a diverse range of quality literary works from across the globe. With a meticulous curation of foreign-language books, InBook offers a unique reading experience, transporting readers to new worlds and enriching their minds. From fiction to self-help, literature to education, InBook has something for everyone.

InBook’s journey began with the establishment of Blue Horizon, a small bookstore founded in 2017 within the premises of The Gioi Publishing House. Over the years, driven by a deep passion for books, InBook has cultivated a community of over 10,000 devoted readers and amassed a collection of 7,000 book titles in English and French, directly imported from international publishers. This transformation from a small bookstore to a thriving foreign-language book haven is a testament to the dedication and perseverance of its founder, Nguyen Huong Lan.

According to Lan, the evolution of InBook into a specialized foreign-language bookstore is a response to the growing demand for English and French literature within the Vietnamese reader community. To meet this demand, InBook continuously updates and expands its catalog, offering a wide range of new and exciting books across all genres. By forging partnerships with foreign publishers, InBook has overcome the challenges of distance and paperwork, bringing the world of international literature directly to its readers.

The bookstore’s efforts have not gone unnoticed, as it now stands as a reputable partner to over 40 leading publishers worldwide, including renowned names such as HarperCollins, Hachette, and Penguin. InBook’s dedication to staying abreast of the latest trends in the international book market, through participation in major book fairs and membership in the International Association of French-Language Bookstores, further underscores its commitment to bringing the best to its readers.

Looking ahead, InBook aspires to expand its role beyond a bookstore. Within the next three years, InBook aims to venture into publishing and literary agency, supporting emerging Vietnamese writers in their journey to reach an international audience. Recognizing the potential for cultural exchange and the untapped talent within the Vietnamese literary scene, InBook is determined to bridge the gap between Vietnamese literature and the global stage.

To celebrate its inauguration, InBook is offering a special discount of 10% on all books throughout the month of August. Located on the 7th Floor of the Luxury Office Building at 93 Thuy Khue street in Hanoi, InBook invites bookworms and literature enthusiasts alike to embark on a journey of discovery and exploration through the power of words.
