The festival, with the theme ‘Brilliant Galaxy,’ illuminated the Hai Thang Tu Square in a dazzling display of technology and creativity.
The South Korean team truly ignited the night sky with their performance, choosing the topic of ‘Nha Trang – World’s Beautiful Bay’ and showcasing their expertise in firebending drones.
Equally mesmerizing was the Chinese team’s presentation, themed ‘Khanh Hoa – Future City.’ Their drones painted a picture of the future with formations of high-rise buildings, dolphins, and even a replica of Cam Ranh International Airport, leaving the audience in awe.

Ho Anh Phong, Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports, and Tourism, expressed his hopes for the festival to elevate Khanh Hoa Province’s tourism, economy, and cultural development. He believed that the event, with its international participation, would create lasting memories for all.
“The Nha Trang International Light Bay Festival is more than just a display of lights and drones,” Phong emphasized. “With artists, lighting designers, and art delegations from around the world, we are confident that this festival will offer fantastic experiences and leave everyone with unforgettable moments.”
Le Thao Trang, a tourist from Ho Chi Minh City, arrived early with her family to secure the best viewing spots. She shared her wish for Nha Trang to continue hosting the festival, turning it into a signature event for the city.
Christian Nuse, a traveler from Poland, was equally captivated by the drone light displays. He particularly remembered the drones forming fireworks and spelling out ‘Wonderful Nha Trang,’ which left a lasting impression.

Dinh Van Thieu, vice-chairman of the administration in Khanh Hoa Province, shared his excitement about hosting the festival for the first time in Nha Trang. With four teams from South Korea, France, China, and the United Arab Emirates, each showcasing at least 1,000 drones, the event was a true international spectacle.
The drone light festival, with its stunning visuals and creative themes, is set to continue captivating audiences on July 13 and 20. The competition between France and the United Arab Emirates, themed ‘Night of the Wonders,’ promises even more breathtaking displays on July 20.
