DIFF 2024 – A Spectacular Display of Nearly 47,000 Fireworks

The Da Nang International Fireworks Festival (DIFF 2024) is a two-month-long celebration of light and color, with the theme ‘Made in Unity’. Eight countries are participating in this dazzling display, including France, Italy, the US, Germany, Poland, China, Finland, and Vietnam.

The grand finale, taking place on July 13th, will light up the night sky with 46,561 fireworks over the Han River. Sun Group, the event organizer, is promising a brilliant and unforgettable conclusion to the festival.

Nadia Shakira Wong, Director of Global 2000 Fireworks Consulting and producer of DIFF 2024, shared her excitement: “Da Nang International Fireworks Festival (DIFF) is a major event in the region, attracting top fireworks teams who are eager to showcase their creativity and skill.”


Awaken River – Heart-Racing Jetski and Flyboard Performances

The western bank of the Han River comes alive with the thrilling sounds and sights of jetski and flyboard performances. Straight out of a Hollywood blockbuster, this daily show at 5:30 pm at Da Nang Downtown’s riverside stage will leave you on the edge of your seat.

For the first time in Da Nang, witness powerful jetski drifts and world-champion flyboard athletes performing death-defying 360-degree somersaults at heights of up to 15 meters. With nearly 3,000 seats available, you won’t want to miss this heart-pumping action.

Sun Group has collaborated with Australia’s H2O, a company with 30 years of experience in organizing sports art shows and working on blockbuster movies, to bring you this unforgettable experience.


Symphony of the River – A Magical Blend of Art and Fireworks

‘Symphony of the River’ is a multi-experiential show that takes place every night at 8:30 pm. It tells the story of the Han River through a unique blend of jetski and flyboard performances, light shows, artistic fireworks, circus acts, and dance. With nearly 100 international performers from various genres, including ballet, hip-hop, contemporary dance, and malambo drumming, this show is a true celebration of art and culture.

The brilliant fireworks display of “Symphony of the River” has also put Da Nang in the spotlight as a top tourist destination in Vietnam this summer, alongside the highly anticipated DIFF 2024. The festival’s magical atmosphere will not only culminate on the final night of July 13th but will linger throughout the season.

For the first time ever in Da Nang, world-famous magic shows will amaze audiences, including quick-change acts and funky balloon performances by stars Minasov Victor and Minasov Elena, as well as jaw-dropping juggling skills by the renowned Teslenko family. Vietnamese Puppetry (Roi Viet) – A Journey Through Traditional Art

Explore the essence of Vietnamese culture at the Au O Theatre, the largest puppet theater in Central Vietnam. ‘Roi Viet’ is a unique show performed by artists from the Vietnam Puppet Theatre, blending over 1,000 years of traditional water and land puppetry with contemporary art elements. It’s a fascinating journey through folk tales and a celebration of the beauty of Vietnam’s culture and people.

The show runs daily (except Mondays) at the Au O Theatre in Da Nang Downtown, welcoming approximately 600 guests to experience this magical fusion of traditional and modern art.

Fairy Blossom – Circus Art at its Finest at Ba Na Hills

Escape to a fairy-tale world at Sun World Ba Na Hills, located 1,500 meters above sea level. ‘Fairy Blossom’ is a dazzling art garden amidst the clouds and mountains, featuring 12 types of performance arts, including circus, contortion, diabolo, balance acts, aerial silk, parkour, and more.

This large-scale show, directed by former Cirque du Soleil member Tuan Le, takes place daily at 11 am at Noel Plaza and involves over 200 international and Vietnamese artists. It stars world-renowned performers, such as Domitil Aillot, the Crystal Ladies, Oleg Izossimov, and Olga Moreva, each bringing their unique talent and magic to the stage.
