The Director of the provincial Tourism Department, Nguyen Van Phuc, highlighted the festival’s significance, stating that it not only boosts tourism but also showcases the region’s cultural values, breathtaking landscapes, and warm hospitality of its people.
The festival kicked off with a spectacular traditional dance and royal performance at the Noon Gate in the imperial capital on June 7. This mesmerizing event marked a successful cultural celebration in Hue City, one that has not been witnessed in the past 24 years.
With the participation of 30 art troupes from across the globe, including France, Belgium, Spain, Canada, Japan, China, the Republic of Korea, and Vietnam, the festival came alive with a diverse range of artistic performances and captivating stage productions, enchanting both locals and visitors alike.
In addition to the stunning performances, the festival also featured a culinary event and showcases of the world-renowned heritage of Hue royal court music and songs, offering a delightful treat for all the senses.
