The Vietnam-Korea Tourism Promotion Festival, with over 40 booths showcasing Vietnamese and Korean businesses, offered a plethora of engaging activities for attendees. These included traditional Korean Hanbok dress-up, the Tuho game, and picture coloring. Significant discounts on Korean tours, encompassing K-drama, cycling, cruise, and Carnival experiences, further enhanced the event’s appeal.

The multi-media booth, a festival highlight, immersed visitors in a vibrant Korean atmosphere through modern presentation technologies. The K-drama booth transported attendees to iconic Korean film locations, while the K-pop booth pulsated with the energy of K-pop music and dance.

The festival’s vibrancy escalated with captivating performances by renowned V-pop and K-pop artists.

As a notable event within the festival, Korea Tourism Night 2024 focused on showcasing Korean tourism attractions and fostering connections between Vietnamese and Korean travel companies to facilitate the development of innovative tourism products.

In 2023, the Republic of Korea (RoK) witnessed 420,000 Vietnamese tourists, while 3.6 million Koreans chose Vietnam as their holiday destination. Currently, the RoK is the primary source of international tourists for Vietnam, and Vietnam ranks as the fifth most significant source market for the Korean tourism industry.

From January to April of this year, over 167,000 Vietnamese travelers visited the RoK, representing a notable 32.6% increase compared to the same period last year. This figure stands as the highest among Southeast Asian countries.
