The organizers of this festival have planned a total of 30 exciting activities, including a street carnival with a unique parade of vintage cars and a stunning display of thousands of women adorning the graceful Ao Dai, Vietnam’s traditional long dress, embellished with delicate lotus flower motifs.

One of the highlights of the festival is a dedicated space that showcases the beauty of diverse lotus flower varieties. Here, visitors can admire a unique map of Vietnam crafted from lotus flowerpots, offering a one-of-a-kind visual experience.

As part of the festival, an exhibition will also be held, featuring a captivating array of paintings, photographs, and ceramic artifacts that celebrate the lotus flower as a central theme. This diverse showcase promises to offer a unique perspective on the cultural and artistic significance of the lotus in Vietnam.

A vibrant fair with 250 stalls will introduce visitors to a wide range of OCOP products made from lotus by local artisans. This is a unique opportunity to discover and support local businesses while immersing yourself in the beauty and versatility of the lotus plant.

The festival brings together 50 talented chefs from Dong Thap and beyond, who will showcase their culinary prowess in a competition centered around creating delectable dishes using various parts of the lotus plant. Get ready for a gastronomic journey like no other!

This is the second edition of the lotus festival in Dong Thap, and it promises to be even more spectacular.
