The set was designed by artist Nguyen Quang Vinh and includes a 32×43 mm stamp and a 150×100 mm block.
The prices of the three stamps and a block are VND4,000, VND6,000, VND10,500, and VND20,500, respectively.
The latest collection will be available on the postal network from April 26 to December 31, 2024. The capital has been dubbed the city of flowers and boasts colourful blooms which appear in the city throughout the 12 months of the year.
The stamp collection draws inspiration from the song Hà Nội – 12 Mùa Hoa (Ha Noi – 12 Seasons of Flowers), which names flowers that people can see in every corner of the city, by composer Giang Son.
In January, Hanoi is famous for peach blossoms; February has hoa ban (Bauhinia variegata); March is the time of the white hoa sữa or milk flower (Alstonia scholaris); April has white lily; May is for red flamboyant; June with the lotus; July has hoa sấu (Dracontomelon flower); August is for hoa xoan (chinaberry flower); September with Milkwood pine flowers; October with chrysanthemum; November has hoa thạch thảo (European Michaelmas daisy); and December with the yellow rape flower.
