The Vietnam Art Photo Contest and Exhibition 2024, organized by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, is currently seeking the finest photographic works from all over the country.

According to Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Ta Quang Dong, the contest is held biennially to discover the most exquisite photos highlighting Vietnamese themes and to showcase them to both domestic and international audiences.
The photo contest is open to both professional and non-professional Vietnamese photographers, including those residing or working abroad, who are at least 18 years of age.
Participants may submit a maximum of eight individual photo works and three sets of photos with descriptions from May 2 to July 15, 2024, through the website www.anhnghethuatvietnam2024.vn.
All photo entries must not have been previously exhibited or awarded in any national or international competition organized by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism or the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists.

Photos must have been taken between August 2022 and June 2024 and will be categorized as realistic or conceptual.
Realistic photos must be created using traditional photographic techniques, excluding any edits or alterations made with artificial intelligence (AI) algorithms.
The photo entries should reflect various aspects of life, people, culture, landscapes, nature, nation building, responses to natural disasters and pandemics, thoughts, opinions, and ideas about life that emphasize the values of truth, goodness, and beauty.
Individual photographs submitted for the competition should not be included in any set of photos.
The Organizing Committee will present 32 awards, including three gold medals, six silver medals, eight bronze medals, and 15 consolation prizes.

October saw a record number of international arrivals at almost 1.62 million, up 34.3 percent year-on-year, according to figures released by the General Statistics Office (GSO) on October 29.
