Nha Trang’s iconic Ponagar Tower transformed into an artistic stage
Last night, a captivating art program took place at Ponagar Tower in Nha Trang, an enchanting coastal city in Khanh Hoa Province, located in south-central Vietnam. This unique event, set against the backdrop of the semi-open-air venue, provided a mesmerizing experience for attendees.
The program, organized jointly by the Khanh Hoa Department of Culture and Sports and the Khanh Hoa Provincial Monuments Conservation Center, allowed visitors to explore the ancient Champa kingdom, which spanned large parts of central and southern Vietnam from the sixth to 16th centuries.
There are currently around 178,000 Cham people, who are descendants of the Champa kingdom, living in Vietnam. Over 83 percent of them reside in rural areas, according to the Nhan Dan (People) newspaper.
