VUFO President Phan Anh Son mentioned that Vietnam – US relations have achieved impressive development in all aspects with the great and tireless efforts of the leaders and people of both countries.
Currently, nearly 750,000 Americans visit Vietnam every year, and there are 119 US non-governmental organizations operating in all 63 provinces and cities of Vietnam.
Son added that young Vietnamese people show a great interest in US culture and education. He believes that people-to-people exchanges between these two countries will continue to contribute significantly to the bilateral relations.
At the festival, visitors can find information about traveling to the US, learning English, as well as register for exchange programs, scholarships, and job opportunities at the US diplomatic mission.
The festival also showcased musical performances, an “Ao dai” show, and special performances by US hip-hop Arts Envoy Adrienne Mack-Davis and the Bamboo Orchestra.
